ACCESSIBILITY

A clearer path through the website.

Readable content, usable navigation, and a way to report a barrier.

Using the site

The site includes a skip-to-content link, keyboard-operable navigation, visible focus styling, semantic headings, and descriptive links. Article images have alternative text. Layouts adapt to narrower screens, and the artwork remains separate from the essential article text.

Motion and navigation

The homepage’s decorative motion is disabled when your device requests reduced motion. On smaller screens, the Menu button opens the navigation; Escape closes it and returns focus to the button. The main links also remain available when JavaScript is disabled. FAQ sections use native expandable controls.

Reading the guides

Long articles include an on-page contents menu and a readable single-column body. The print style removes navigation and decorative elements. You can enlarge browser text or zoom the page using your browser’s controls. No account or form submission is required to read the material.

Scope and feedback

These features are not a claim of formal accessibility certification or exhaustive assistive-technology testing. An external voting service linked or discussed in an article has its own interface and evaluation needs.

Report a barrier to [email protected]. Include the page address, device or browser, the task you were attempting, and what prevented completion. Do not include private ballot information. Our accessible email voting guide covers the separate challenge of evaluating a complete participant journey.
